Our client develops and delivers innovative mobile media and mobile internet solutions to the telecommunications industry enabling operators and content providers to introduce new services to consumers and enhance revenue streams. Thanks to ongoing success and in order to support the company's continued growth we are looking to hire an experienced sales professional to join the EMEA team.
Description:
As VP Sales: West EMEA you will drive sales of complex platform based solutions to mobile operators within Western Europe- your primary focus will be on the UK, Ireland, Italy, Spain and France working through a direct sales force and through channel partners. You will also have responsibility for a team including account managers, presales, solutions consultants.
Specific responsibilities include:
Build, lead and manage a sales team capable of meeting and exceeding sales targets for your region
Manage the overall sales process within the region
Develop and implement sales strategies to develop sales with mobile operators that are not current customers and increase business with existing customers
Personally develop and execute relationships within key MNOs in the region, especially with Vodafone
Develop relationships and work with key partners in the region
Provide accurate forecast information regarding pipeline and projected bookings
Act as liaison between sales and product marketing initiatives
Interact frequently with executive team and product departments
Candidate Requirements:
To succeed in this role you must have a proven track record of selling complex platform based solutions to the mobile operators in EMEA. A strong relationship with Vodafone is essential.
Additional requirements include:
Educated to Bachelors or Masters degree level or equivalent
Extensive previous experience in sales management and strategic account management
Experience of working within the mobile market in particular selling platform based solutions to the mobile network operators
Good judgement alongside drive to succeed and accomplish goals
Knowledge of technology in the mobile telecommunications industry
Excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills
Willing and able to travel internationally with no restrictions
