About our client
Our client is a leader within the global mobile media market place. We are searching for a strong leader that can assume ownership of the operational management of the organization and ensure the continued implementation of best practices and processes that will allow the company to continue its aggressive rate of growth.
It is critical that candidates have not only extensive senior level leadership experience but also of preparing a business for IPO. Therefore we require a seasoned expert with IPO experience who can work with the CEO and the Board in managing that process and investment bank for optimum results.
Strategic Planning and Business Performance Management
Lead in the development of the annual strategic plan
Lead the development of the annual budget and operating plan that fully supports the organizations strategic and financial goals, business model and core values
Develop, establish, and direct execution of operating policies to support overall company policies and objectives
Develop and implement profitability management processes, including billability metrics
and expense control
Develop and report to the board on key metrics tied to the financial and strategic objectives of the business
Financial Management and Accounting
Manage and oversee the monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and close processes including development of a management dashboard
Manage operations team to ensure execution of A/P, A/R, budgeting, payroll, and cash
Management, including bank reconciliations
Establish/update financial management processes as well as related infrastructure (e.g.
accounting systems) to enable scalability of operations
Contract Management
Oversee monitoring, tracking and compliance of all federal and commercial contracts
Coordinate with project teams and client contracting staff to resolve contractual issues and ensure timely invoicing
Develop pricing guidelines, pricing rates and proposal pricing strategies
HR and Administration
Manage HR administration processes including employee benefits, recruiting, and policies
Manage facilities infrastructure including office environment and administrative staff
Advise on other management and operational matters including IT and facilities
Position Requirements:
15+ years of operations and finance experience, preferably in a fast-paced media or
technology business
Smart and strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple
priorities
Outstanding people management skills with demonstrable experience of leading operations in a (preferably) creative, global environment. Able to drive change through organisations.
An established record of success, increasingly responsible positions as an operating executive, ideally experience in customer-focused markets.
Contributed to increased revenues and a strong profit and loss orientation at the company from which he/she originated.
A team player that drives the companys efficiency and quality standards, without losing its current effectiveness.
An open and effective leader who is willing to roll up the sleeves and make it work, without getting lost in operational details.
BS/BA degree; and MBA
